BOARD OF DIRECTORS

The Fairway Pines Board of Directors is made up of subdivision homeowners who have offered their time to help maintain and improve the Fairway Pines community for the betterment of all the residents. They are elected to their position by the homeowner community at the annual July General Meeting. The length of service has been tentatively set at two years, with actual terms staggered to ensure an ongoing level of experience on the board. Mid-term vacancies are usually filled by volunteers who have been approved by the remaining board members. All board members must be homeowners and in compliance with the Covenants and Restrictions for the subdivision. No board member is financially compensated for their time and effort, except expenses such as postage are reimbursed.
Although all board members enjoy equal standing, different roles are assumed by each member for efficiency and convenience. Currently, the roles include President, Secretary, Finance, Architectural Review, Parks, and Roadway Management. The board meets as necessary, usually at least once a month.
